How to get here

Billund Airport is the closest airport to Horsens, but if getting to Billund involves intermediate landings it might be less time consuming to fly to Copenhagen Airport and take a direct train to Horsens (takes about 3 hours and runs 1-2 times every hour).

From Billund airport
From Billund airport it is possible to take either Bus 43 og 143 to Vejle Trafikcenter and from there walk 500 meters to Vejle train station where trains run to Horsens every 30 minutes. The journey takes about one and a half hour. It is also possible to take an airport bus, Bus 912X from Billund Airport to Horsens, but notice that it only stops at the motorway 4,5 km outside Central Horsens.

From Copenhagen airport
Trains from Copenhagen airport runs directly to Horsens. Tickets are available from the DSB ticket office above the railway station in Terminal 3. The train departs approximately every half hour and the journey lasts about three hours.

From Aarhus airport
Another possibility is Aarhus Airport that serves a small selection of European flights. From Aarhus Airport you can take Bus 925X to Aarhus train station (takes 1 hour and runs approximately 1 time per hour) and from here take a direct train to Horsens (takes ½ hour and runs 2-3 times every hour).
